As a community church our door is open to all who wish to learn and grow in the knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. We were founded in 1831 and incorporated in 1906. We joined the Conservative Congregation Christian Conference in 1960.
We are congregationally governed and evangelically minded. In our Sunday worship we are dedicated to the public reading of the Word of God, the centrality of preaching, prayer, and the singing of 'psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.' We observe the ordinances of Baptism and the Lord's Supper.
